Hi, I'm Sam and although I love my daytime job as a banker, my biggest passions are rescuing dogs and cooking (and eating, duh).  I started fostering through TLC Pet Rescue in Georgia in 2017 and I could not think of a more rewarding and fun experience.  I find a lot of people that think they could never foster an animal, and I want to break down the stigma about rescue dogs.  When I'm not chasing after one of our fosters, I'm cooking.  I started cooking when I was only a few years old, making soup with my Portuguese grandmothers.  As I got older, I started learning more advanced techniques and I got a lot of great tips from my best friend, who is a classically trained cook.  I recently made an the choice to switch to a mostly plant-based diet; I feel amazing and it has pushed me to become more creative with my meals.  I love creating my own recipes and I want to share them with all of you!  Hope you enjoy!
